Courage

It was once said that "Courage is not defined by those who fought and did not fall, but by those who fought, fell and rose again." At some point in life we all will fall, it is at that moment we must ask ourselves will we have the courage to rise again. As I've mentioned in previous blogs, you have the power to change your attitude, just as you have the power to limit your courage. You can lay down defeated and quit or you can get up and fight- the choice is yours. "Courage does not always roar, sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying I will try again tomorrow" - Mary Anne Redmacher

Courage is sometimes hard, if it werent everyone could face lifes challenges with a smile on their face. Today I challenge you to find the courage when faced with oposition to smile. This has been one of my greatest struggles- just staying positive and smiling. Smile in the face of fear, it freaks people out! I can remember when i was a child and started playing baseball.. it was that transition from pitching machine to actual pitcher who cant throw. I was scared to death to bat. My coach told me.. if you feel intimidated, smile at the pitcher, it will mess him up. When I took that advice I usually got walked. Smile today!

Below are some of the challenges in my life that require courage, what are yours?

-Writing a blog (opening up my mind, thoughts and feelings to the world)
-My dads death (it still requires courage everyday to keep going)
-The ability to stay positive when things have been negative for so long!
- The ability to open up to people and talk of my dads death- face to face.
